What is Lymphatic Drainage?

Lymphatic Drainage is designed to promote the optimal functioning of the lymphatic vessels that lead to the circulatory system. A treatment is a series of gentle, flowing, rhythmic, skin stretching movements which are performed in the direction of the lymph flow. It is a very light and gentle and should not be confused with a traditional massage.

Lymph drainage techniques facilitate the removal of metabolic wastes, excess water, toxins, bacteria, large protein molecules, and foreign substances from tissue via the initial lymph vessels and the venous capillaries.

What can Lymphatic Drainage be used for?
